In North and Central America, rich biodiversity goes hand-in-hand with a long tradition of beekeeping. Across the vast landscapes of North America and the tropical regions of Central America, we work together with selected beekeepers who are deeply connected to their local environments. The result is honey from landscapes characterised by their unspoilt natural beauty – carefully harvested and handled in harmony with nature in order to preserve its inherent quality.

Mexiko

The heritage of the Maya

In Mexico, beekeeping is a cultural heritage, often practised in small family-run businesses on the Yucatán Peninsula or in the central highlands, stretching up into the Sierra Madre mountains. The beekeepers we work with devote themselves to their craft with a wealth of experience and meticulous care, thereby drawing on the rich diversity of the local flora. The result is honey that embodies the warmth of Mexico and the characteristic, full-bodied aroma of its wild flowers.

The distinctive character of our Mountain Blossom Honey stems from the Mexican Sierra Madre Mountains.

Guatemala

Rainforest and volcanoes

Guatemala is characterised by stunning, unspoilt natural landscapes, in which forests, volcanic regions and fertile valleys are closely intertwined. In these regions, beekeeping plays an important role and contributes towards the preservation of natural habitats. On the nutrient-rich volcanic soils in particular, many flowers are able to flourish to their full potential, providing the bees with a valuable source of food. This interaction results in a pale, delicately aromatic honey with a gentle sweetness and perfectly balanced character.
